Welcome: The Start of the Journey

Hello and welcome! This is Nele here, a student from UCL studying Environmental Geosciences. I am happy to say that I am full of excitement to start blogging for the very first time even though it can be quite intimidating to show my thoughts and views in front of a potentially large audience.  But I am willing the take this opportunity to share them in writing and hopefully, you will enjoy it and get something out of it. :)

General Content

This blog will be concentrating on the exploration and discussion of the interactions between agricultural activity such as farming and livestock breeding with climate change on a global scale. Through which I would like to address problems such as:

• What is agriculture's contribution to greenhouse gas emission?
• What are the main challenges of climate change?
• How agriculture can have positive impacts on the environment as a form of geoengineering?
• How can climate change in turn affect agricultural production?
